For individuals aged 62 and older, assisted living at The Laurels blends the services and security of traditional residential life with the pride and privacy of living in your own apartment. We provide a caring, nurturing environment for older adults who may need help with personal care but still want to live independently. Trained, supportive staff are on hand 24 hours a day to ensure that you have the services you need, when you want them. Our goal is to help you maintain your dignity and independence in a comfortable, congenial atmosphere.
Each of the 30 individual apartments at The Laurels includes a kitchenette with sink, refrigerator, and microwave; a bathroom; a clothes closet; and a linen closet. Efficiency apartments also have a bedroom/living/dining area, while one-bedroom apartments include a living/dining area and a separate bedroom for maximum privacy. Two of the first-floor apartments have wheelchair-accessible showers with a full, five-foot turning radius.

As a resident of The Laurels, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that if, at some point, you require skilled nursing services, you will receive preferential admission to The Green Home, the Laurel Health System’s skilled nursing facility, located next door to The Laurels. Soldiers + Sailors Memorial Hospital is across the street for added convenience.
