Description:
Essential Function: This part-time position is responsible for providing relief care to the primary caregiver of a person with developmental disabilities in his or her private residence. The respite caregiver provides support and assistance to the individual as necessary, including, but not limited to, bathing, dressing, feeding, medication administration, light housekeeping, assistance with transportation to medical appointments, and recreation.

Qualifications: Minimum High School Diploma. Previous experience working formally or informally with persons with developmental disabilities is helpful. Must demonstrate adequate penmanship, math, spelling and grammar skills. Good oral and written communication skills a must. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record. Will maintain a customer service level commensurate with the expectations of the Mission Statement. E.O.E.
