On March 25, 2008, the Laurel Health System Board of Directors recognized Gordie Dunlap for his leadership of the Employee Committee on Philanthropy, leading to the Helping Hands Gala on March 1 at the Genetti Hotel in Williamsport. In addition to his excellent graphic designing for this event, his willingness to assume the added responsibilities of Master of Ceremonies is commendable and contributed greatly to the evening’s success.
